Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Antbase ("the Platform"), the ANT API ("the Service"), the Playground, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Antbase provides an intelligent AI model routing service (ANT) that routes API requests to third-party AI model providers. ANT does not generate AI content itself — it routes requests to providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, and others.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that exploits minors in any way.
  • Generate malware, phishing content, or tools designed to compromise computer systems.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or content filters.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
  • Use the Service to train competing AI models using generated outputs.
  • Use automated systems to create fake accounts or abuse free credit offers.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.

5. API Usage

  • API keys are personal and non-transferable. Do not share or publish your API keys.
  • You are responsible for all API requests made with your keys.
  • Rate limits apply. Exceeding limits may result in temporary or permanent throttling.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate API access for abuse.

6. Credits and Billing

  • Credits are prepaid and non-refundable except as required by law.
  • Token usage is charged at the provider’s own rate with no markup added by Antbase. The rate charged for each request, and any fee, is itemised in your usage log in the dashboard.
  • A platform fee of up to 5% may be applied to credit purchases. The fee in effect is shown at checkout before you pay; at present no platform fee is charged and credits are sold at face value ($10 buys $10 of credit).
  • Unused credits do not expire.
  • We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK)

  • You may use your own API keys from third-party providers.
  • You are responsible for compliance with those providers' terms of service.
  • Antbase is not liable for charges incurred on your third-party accounts.
  • BYOK requests are not currently charged a routing fee. We may introduce one, and will publish the rate here before it takes effect.

8. Affiliate Program

  • Affiliates earn 20% recurring commission on referred users' credit spending.
  • Affiliates must not use misleading, deceptive, or spam tactics to generate referrals.
  • Self-referrals and referral fraud (fake accounts, bot signups) are prohibited and will result in immediate termination and forfeiture of earnings.
  • We reserve the right to adjust commission rates with 30 days notice.
  • Minimum payout threshold is $25. Payouts are processed via PayPal.
  • We may suspend or terminate affiliate accounts for policy violations.

9. Free Tier

  • Free credits ($5 on signup) are provided as a one-time promotional offer.
  • ant:free (zero-cost models) are provided as-is with no guaranteed availability.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.
  • Abuse of free tier resources (excessive automated usage, bot traffic) may result in account restriction.

10. Content and Data

  • You retain ownership of content you submit through the Service.
  • We do not use your prompts or API data to train models.
  • We may log request metadata (model used, token counts, latency) for service improvement and billing.
  • We store a short excerpt of each prompt (up to 200 characters) together with a one-way hash of it, used for routing diagnostics, abuse detection and caching. Excerpts are deleted after 30 days. 11. Third-Party Providers

ANT routes requests to third-party AI providers. Each provider has its own terms of service and acceptable use policies. Content that violates a provider's terms may be blocked or filtered. Antbase is not responsible for the content generated by third-party models.

12. Intellectual Property

  • The Antbase platform, ANT routing engine, documentation, and website are our intellectual property.
  • You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
  • You may use the API in your applications per these terms.

13. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. ANTBASE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS.

14. Disclaimer for Health/Medical Use

AI outputs routed through ANT are not medical advice. The Service should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified healthcare providers for medical decisions.

15. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • Upon termination, remaining credits are forfeited unless required by law to be refunded.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification with 30 days notice.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam.
